In Philadelphia, many individuals and families face a shortage of fresh, quality produce. This is not only an economic issue, but also a health and wellness challenge. We are focused on supporting those who are struggling and need affordable and healthy food to live life to the fullest.

Our fair is aimed at low-income families who cannot always afford a nutritious meal, elderly people who often have difficulty buying and preparing food, children from vulnerable families, and people with disabilities who need extra support. Each of them is part of our community, and we strive to provide them with a life of dignity.

PFFood is not just a fair, but a platform to unite people around the idea of care and mutual help. We create a supportive atmosphere where everyone can receive not only products, but also warmth of fellowship, understanding and hope. Together we build a strong, healthy and friendly community where no one is left alone with difficulties.

Theme of the day: Discovery. A Taste of the City

Highlights:

11:00 – Grand opening of the fair;
12:00-13:00 – Master class: “Farm salad with your own hands” (from GreenRoots Farm);
14:00-15:00 – Performance by Philly Strings musical duo;
15:30-16:30 – Cooking show: “How to bake a perfect babka” (Babka & Co.);
17:00 – Contest: “Guess the Taste” – blindly trying products from different vendors;
18:00 – Musical evening and dancing to live music.

Children’s zone: Aqua make-up, board games, mini vegetable garden for planting greens, workshop “paint your basket”.

Theme of the day: Good Deeds Day.

Main Events:

10:30am – “Pay What You Can” Charity Breakfast;
11:30-13:00 – Fermentation workshop by Philly Jar;
13:30 – Public talk: “How to reduce food waste at home”;
14:30 – Live performance by Urban Folk Roots band;
16:00 – Contest: “Home Baking” – audience vote for best pie;
17:30 – Charity Auction: food, gift baskets and certificates from participants.

Children’s Zone: Puppet show, sensory boxes, DIY creative corner.

Theme of the day: Community and Family.

Highlights:

10:00-12:00 – Workshop: “Weekend Breakfasts” by The Kind Cup;
12:30-13:30 – Family quest game around the fairgrounds;
14:00 – Panel Discussion: “How Food Unites a Neighborhood”;
15:00-16:00 – Live Jazz by Philly Brass;
16:30 – Final prize drawing among volunteers and guests;
17:00 – Closing ceremony.

Children’s zone: Cooking master class for children, trampoline, bubble show, photo zone.
