Last Year’s Results: How Much Food We Put Together in 2023

Last year was a time of great accomplishments and good deeds for the PFFood Fair. Thanks to the participation of hundreds of volunteers, vendors, and concerned Philadelphians, we were able to collect and distribute a tremendous amount of food that helped hundreds of families and individuals in need.

The total amount of food collected

In 2023, the PFFood Fair collected more than 15,000 pounds of fresh vegetables, fruits, baked goods and other products. This is more than 30% more than the previous year! This result was possible thanks to increased cooperation with local farmers and suppliers, as well as the active participation of volunteers.

Who our fair helped

The food collected was sent to over 20 charitable organizations and food banks in Philadelphia. In total, more than 2,500 families, including large and low-income families, seniors and the homeless, received assistance.

Volunteers and participants

The 2023 Fair brought together more than 350 volunteers and 120 vendors who not only brought food, but actively helped with organization, collection and distribution. Their energy and enthusiasm was a real driver of our overall success.

Special Moments

  • For the first time, a competition was held among farmers for the best product, which increased the quality and variety of goods.
  • Organized master classes on preparing healthy food from the fair’s products, which were attended by more than 300 people.
  • A program to support families with children was launched, which received additional funding thanks to the money raised.

Thank you to everyone who was with us in 2023!

Your support and participation make our city kinder and stronger. Together we are proving that food is not only a necessity, but a way to show caring and unity.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2024 Fair to continue doing good together!
